Budgeting Workshops

“This was an awesome workshop. Stop being afraid and learn how to face and manage your finances the way God intended us to do. The more you know, the more you grow!”

Octavia Rittenberry Dorsey

In my book, Climbing the Mountain * the heart of budgeting, we discuss the importance of “why” budgeting is so critical to one’s overall financial health. Contrary to prevalent thought in our society, both the rich and the poor (and everyone in-between) needs to master the art and discipline of budgeting if we are to please God and follow biblical principles.

Far too often our society leans too heavily on mere techniques to solve problems. This is the “how to” approach. While techniques are obviously important to achieving overall success in most endeavors, they are only an ingredient. To be successful in virtually anything in life, you must involve your body, soul, and spirit.

The Budgeting Workshops are tuned to address your spirit, made in the image of God. In other words, your heart.

Are you ready to learn the secret for good budgeting from the Christian perspective? I look forward to seeing you at my next workshop!

Book Signings

One of my favorite events is meeting my readers! Have a question for me? Want to chat? I can’t wait to meet you! Check the home page for upcoming signing events.

Small Group Visits

Many of my books make GREAT small group studies. For example, each book in the Parables Series has a universal biblical topic as a basis for the story (e.g., faith, hope, and love). The unique aspect is that each book has the cited scriptures indexed in the back of the book. Garden of Life, Late Night Breakfast, and Top of the Mountain all have over 160 passages of scripture and twelve lessons each. Contact me for a visit to your small group today! We’ll bring an exciting message with solid biblical teaching  (pictured is the Hancock ME book club).

The book that started it all

A Walk Through The Market

What would you say if someone claiming to be an angel sent on an assignment showed up one morning, sporting a ponytail and a Krispy Kreme T-shirt and calling you “dude”?
